报告人简介：Olivier BENSAUDE，巴黎高师INSERM研究所主任。出生于1950年3月7日。1979年获得巴黎七大生物学博士学位。随后在法国巴斯德研究所做博士 后，从事糖原磷酸化构象和热休克蛋白结构的研究。1986年起在巴斯德研究所担任活细胞蛋白热变性研究组的组长。1991年至今，在巴黎高师的IBENS 从事非编码RNA领域的研究工作。目前在Proc Natl Acad Sci，Mol Biol Cell, EMBO J.等SCI刊物发表论文40余篇。

报告摘要：The Positive Transcription Factor (P-TEFb) is regulated by a feed-back loop that involves a non-coding RNA.
P-TEFb comprises two subunits, CDK9 and Cyclin T1. It is a protein kinase that is required to elongate transcription by RNA polymerase II. It’s activity is modulated. For instance, it increases when transcription is inhibited. P-TEFb activity is inhibited by a protein, HEXIM, bound to a non coding RNA, 7SK. When transcription is inhibited, the 7SK is trapped by hnRNPs and is no more available to bind HEXIM.
